Protecting the Future

This project’s main concern is protecting fish populations. Our goals include identifying and protecting fish spawning grounds, training and employment of conservation officers, and developing a tool kit to aid in the identification, data recording and protection of spawning aggregations.

Fishful Thinking Goals

  1. Establishing the presence of a certified ranger at aggregation sites during spawning periods.

  2. Establish funding to assist with identifying new spawning sites and aggregations.

  3. Using digital media like photos, videos, and lectures, we transform perceptions about fish. Together, we can protect the ocean's future through education and community action.
